Adding competition within on field and gym settings with teams/athletes/individuals will allow for maximum effort/intent to occur

Testing protocols and power sessions require maximum intent. Adding a competitive element will push the individual to their max potential


, to lower injury risk, running at max velocity each week will lower your chances of sustaining a hamstring injury. Using games, some form of competition or incentive while sprinting allows for maximum velocity to be achieved and therefore lowers injury risk
